These ruins of an old silk factory is a historical location in Kfarmatta built in 1860. It was one of the first mills to be constructed in Lebanon and one of the largest. Located just off the main road, it sits on a 36,000 sq meter plot of land, offering views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It’s a great reminder of Lebanon’s once-thriving silk industry and it offers a glimpse into Lebanon’s architectural and economic history

A really nice traditional restaurant in Kfarmatta overlooking a beautiful view of green mountains. They serve Lebanese authentic food all year long where you can enjoy their delicious plates on the terrace in summer and beside the fire indoors in winter. They have argileh too.
