Baalbek Temple of venus is the most known landmark in all of Lebanon.  This huge Roman ruin has a variety of sites, and towering columns everywhere you look.  At entry, someone will offer to give you a tour for a small fee. It’s nice but there are much better places to see in Lebanon. The columns are intimidatingly large and its fun to climb some of the rocks.
