Deir el Qalaa

About this activity

On the highest hill in Beit Meri, this archeological site is located. It contains the remnants of temples, a monastery, a Byzantine church, a bath, and several olive presses. They go back to the Byzantine and Roman Eras. The place is surrounded by nice gardens and terraces that overlook the city of Beirut. A beautiful place to be discovered when you’re around.
