These two towns east of Beirut are beautiful all year long, but especially in winter when covered with snow! They still maintain the old traditional Lebanese spirit in their narrow streets and stone buildings. Many things to do there let’s check them together!
A little bakery in Falougha where you can have a delicious authentic Lebanese breakfast. They serve Saj manakeesh in several flavors with labneh, eggs, and of course a pot of tea. A great place to start the day!
This spot is famous for its gorgeous view of the lakes below. You also have a great view of the Matn countryside. The view and perspective from here are incredible.
At the top of this hill in Falougha is the location where the first Lebanese independence flag was raised. There is a little historic memorial and a beautiful yet small cedar forest surrounding the location.Â
This heart at a hilltop in Falougha is constantly trending on Instagram, with a beautiful view of the valley below, or cloud cover underneath your feet, this spot is the perfect place to take a romantic picture.
A beautiful stone house located in Qornayel, near Felougha, in the Baabda district area. It consists of two floors and fits four people. You can rent the place for the day only or for overnight, and all the spacious private outdoors will be yours including a pool, kids area, and BBQ. The weather is very nice all year long and nice views surround the house.
