In the South of Lebanon, from Nabatiye, drive north to Iqlim al Tuffah which is called so because of apple and other fruit-tree plantations the villages are rich in. The most beautiful villages in the south due to their amazing view toward the coast, the nice weather even in the hottest days of summer, and the nice nature full of water springs. Here are a few things you can do when visiting Iqleem al Tuffah

Authentic Breakfast at Saj eben al Balad

A nice little bakery, with a simple setup in a beautiful location with traditional saj manaqeesh. They also serve other complimentary breakfast items like labneh, tea, and vegetables. The view is breathtaking with a high green mountain facing the seating area. A great start for your day. More Info

Hike Abou Rkeb Mountain

Hike this beautiful mountain in Aramta, South Lebanon. It’s not an easy trail where you have to elevate about an hour and a half on a steep road, but the amazing views along the way will make you forget how tired you are. At the end of the hike, you arrive at the peak where you can see a panoramic breathtaking view of Jabal Safi, Jabal Soujoud, and all the way to Sahel Al- Maydane in Kfarrouman! Visit Mleeta Landmark

Also known as the Museum of Resistance Tourism, this place holds the history of the Israeli occupation and remnants of the 2006 war. Tanks, weapons, and even aircraft remains are presented in an artistic way. A 650-meter trail between trees and within caves leads to a balcony with a breathtaking view of Ekleem el Teffah area. Green spaces and flowers everywhere and a big fountain in the middle of the landmark adds beauty to the place. A playground for kids is available at very affordable prices and includes a high zipline for all ages.

Lunch at Sama Mleeta

Eat above the clouds in this amazing restaurant. They serve Lebanese and foreign food with a breathtaking view. Greenery and flowers surround the place which adds serenity to the place. Delicious food and good service but what will keep you coming is the amazing view. They have an outdoor and indoor seating area and are open all year long. More Info

Paragliding in Eqleem el Tuffeh

After three years of studies and preparation, the second paragliding location in Lebanon is ready to welcome you to the south. The starting point is from Jabal Safi in Ain Bouswar village 1050 meters above the sea, and you'll land in Kfarfila. More Info

Sunset at Jabal Safi

At 1300 meters elevation, wherever you stand in Jabal Safi you’ll see amazing views. Most days of the year you can see the sunset with a layer of clouds beneath you. Camping is possible up there and there are many new places opening in the area that offer saj, hot drinks, and bonfires. Wonderful Hiking trails are also available with guides.

Sleep at this Bungalow

Between Jbaa and Jezzine road, and down in the valley, this beautiful campsite is available. It consists of 3 wooden bungalows with a wide seating area, a BBQ place, an outdoor kitchen that is equipped with everything, a bonfire, and a bathroom.  They all fit 8 people and overlook an amazing view of pine trees.   A place where simplicity and village life dominate and a perfect escape for nature lovers for its quietness and serenity.
