Jayroun

Jayroun is the most remote village in Lebanon.  It sits on top of a virgin mountain between Daniyeh and Akkar.  There is nothing else on that mountain!  The road to get to Jayroun is very narrow and very steep.  While the surrounding views are amazing, the trip is not for the weak-hearted. This is a must-visit for any person who likes to explore Lebanon .Visiting this village seems like a bit of a portal back through time.
