Nejmeh Square

About this activity

An Icon of Beirut, this square is located in the heart of Down Town.  Most notable for its Architecture, where a four-faced Rolex watch is in the center while the parliament, two cathedrals, a museum, buildings, restaurants, and cafes surround it

History 

The clock in the middle which is the jewel of the square was gifted to Lebanon by the emigrant Michel Abed in 1930

Today

Now it’s a destination for families, locals, and tourists who roam the streets of Beirut and enjoy its beauty while kids ride their bicycles and feed many pigeons there
