Sayedet el Nourieh sits on the peak of a green peak in Hamat. It is believed that this marine shrine is built in 500 B.C. by two lost sailors! So much beauty and serenity in this ancient church overlooking a breathtaking view of the Midtereannean sea
Notes
Nourieh is a derivative of the Arabic word Nour meaning Light, thus the shrine is also called The Lady of Light
