A castle was newly built in Kherbet Selem, South Lebanon. Mr Yousif Chabaan, a man born in an artistic family, is behind this project which took 25 years to finish. It looks like a castle from a fairy tale with its nine high towers and unique architecture. Statues and figures are built inside of it that represent some characteristics known in Lebanese villages and craftsmen’s work. You can take 30 minutes to walk in and outside the castle which has a nice view and a low entrance fee. A place that combines heritage and art.
