Lakkis Farm has a couple different locations in the Beqaa, this restaurant serves traditional Lebanese breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can order everything from a safiha to Kibbeh nayeh and barbecue.
A famous religious shrine on a hilltop overlooking Zahle. From this spot, you can see most of the city of Zahle, Sahel Al Beqaa, and the eastern Lebanese mountains dividing Lebanon and Syria. It can be crowded during worship times.
This is a wonderful place for a typical summer day. You can rent a bike, or just enjoy a picnic or sit on the bench while you absorb the beauty of nature residing in the lake and its surroundings. Very kid-friendly and would be a perfect Sunday activity for the family.Also, they sell fresh dairy products from their farm like qareeshe, Labneh, and cheeses which are very delicious and worth trying. You can spend a whole afternoon there enjoying all the activities and sceneries. You can rent bicycles or go horseback riding.
In the heart of the beautiful Ammiq village, enjoy an authentic tasty Lebanese meal while watching the panoramic view of west Bekaa. They serve a buffet of delicious Lebanese food, desserts, and fruits. It's a place to relax and absorb the amazing nature and atmosphere around. Note that they only open at weekends and holidays.
The last wetland existing in Lebanon, this natural reserve will fascinate you! With the beautiful scenery everywhere along with the rich Eco diversity, it is indeed a true gem. Over 250 species of birds are recorded in the reserve since it lays under a busy sky of bird seasonal migration. Not only do birds love Ammiq, but as you walk in its magical land you might spot a deer or a buffalo, this reserve is home to 23 different types of mammals too! Bring your own snacks and go hike and discover Lebanese natural beauty!
This famous drive is 3.5 KM long with towering trees on both sides of the road and mountains surrounding the area beyond the trees. It's a great experience if you're in the area.
