Bjerrine, also known as the ghost town, is a village in Jbeil district with no population! It has been abandoned since World War Two when all its people left the country due to famine and never come back since then. Its stone homes are now without a roof and no signs of life are present.

Also, The village has many ruins that go back to the Phoenician era. Now the village serves as a tourist site for people interested in history and interesting stories , but a hike must be made to discover the area since a paved road does not exist anymore!
