MIM Mineral Museum

About this activity

In USJ campus in Beirut, this museum is fascinating indeed! It holds more than 2000 pieces of natural minerals and crystals of different sizes, colors, and shapes extracted from 70 countries worldwide. Also, one room is designed to hold expensive gemstones like diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and more which will captivate your eyes. Moreover, the museum has different fossils discovered in Lebanon and you can watch a show about them.

Tips

The most important part of the museum is the room of Mimodactylus of Lebanon, which contains the fossils of the only flying dinosaur in the middle east.
