Yahchouch is famous for its amazing waterfalls. This village has deep between its valley 13 waterfalls and two intersecting rivers, Ibrahim and Naher el Dahab. The first three waterfalls can be accessed without any extra gear, however, the remaining ones are for professional hikers and need special equipment for climbing and rappelling.
Directions
Two starting points to get to the waterfalls, the first is from the village, and the second is from Yahchouch camp. You’ll walk for 10 minutes on private land with olive trees, then you’ll need extra 15 minutes to get to the river. Each waterfall is 10 minutes away from the other approximately.
Tips
The best time to visit is in early spring and summer when the water is crystal clear. In winter the trail is a bit slippery, and the watercolor is brown from the heavy water flow that sweeps all the dirt with it.
Warning
A small entrance fee is to be paid if you went from Yahchouch camp since its a private land
Even if you choose not to swim, you might get wet since you’ll have to cross a river so get some extra shoes and cloth with you anyway
